My dh was appalled by my letting my 2 yr old water the grass behind the barn. A 2 yr old cannot walk 2 football field lengths back to the house without wetting his pants! I would much rather he do it behind the barn than in his britches.

My son now 4 peed on the tree in the front yard in front of all the neighbor kids.

He didn't do it again after the fuss they made!!

This is so true! My dh would rather go outside to potty then walk 2 feet to the bathroom. So do my boy's. What is gross is that my dh uses the bathroom and then the dog goes behing him and marks over it.......

I am married to a city slicker who is trying to learn to be country. LOL Where we live we could go naked and not worry but he is so stuffy at times. LOL

our first house in the city our first house only had 1 bathroom and if the wife was in there sometimes i had to go outside and water the old lilac bush. luckily it was in the backyard. The previous owner had neglected the lilac so i said i was just helping give it new life.

my nephew from D.C. was visiting and was just appalled that i made him go outside versus my get out of the bathroom because he had to pee. even worse, when he was visiting the family farm he would waddle, squirm and moan while he walked across the field to the new house instead of using the outhouse he had been 10 feet from. City boy or what my sister calls a Cityot.

It wasn't long ago that we were all outside late in the evening and I was finishing up some chores. I realized things were quiet and looked around to find my son watering the side of the shed...next to him was Diesel(dog)with his leg cocked up on a bush...and Molly(dog) squatting not far. It was one of those kodak moments, only you wouldn't be able share that photo with just anyone!!!

I encourage my DH go around the chicken coop to help keep predators away. Marking his territory so to speak.

One day, after my (now 30yr. ) son started school, I answer the phone --to hear a very upset Kindergarten teach asking me to have a talk with my son about peeing off the front porch of the school! He still sees nothing wrong about using the bathroom outside, neither does his father, our sil or our grandsons!

At a new group to worship with, when in rushes a bunch of girls........son is outside peeing on bush.......just like home, except we're in town at Church.

Another time, we had a sun deck. Uncle, aunt, & their son pull in, their headlights hit my son standing on top rail letting it go...........

Yes, here in country, feel urge, look around to make sure no one is there, fertilize away.....
