You know your raising a hick for a son when........

My dad & little brother do it as well... off the back deck. My little brother has the habit of going on the front steps out the front door of the house. Anyone notice that smell besides me? It's bad enough to gag a maggot, I'm telling you. Horrid. I'm embarrassed because people coming into our house have asked what the smell was. HA. I try to convince them if they MUST use it outside, PLEASE do so in the grass.

It's a country thing though, everyone around here does it.

When my oldes son graduated kindergarden at the Christian school he was attending they had a bunch of tables set up outside with food, etc. I turned by back on my middle son - who was about 3 - and he dropped his pants and peed right in the middle of all those tables.

2 days ago my 3 year old son dropped his pants at my Mom and Dad's and watered the grass - gotta love having boys

I put my two boys in the truck at the grocery store and went to return the cart. When I came back, my three year old was standing on the ground with the truck door open and his pants around his ankles peeing on the asphault! He must get it from me because when he was potty training, one of his rewards was to be able to pee outside "like dad" when he was totally potty trained!

As the predator at the very top of the food chain here, I've earned and exercise my right to mark my territory.

I'm probably at the wrong forum. I'm looking for help regarding predators. My question is: I think our coop is secure. I put in 5 boiled eggs with Xs on them to encourage laying. One by one, the eggs have disappeared. No sign of egg shells, egg remains of any kind. I figure a predator would take the chickens over the eggs?? I don't think a snake would be active in the icy weather. They have come up missing in the coldest of weather. I have cleaned out my coop and there is no trace of any eggshells or anything. I would love some feed back. This is my first time at raising chickens. I have had them since about the latter part of summer last year. Thank you in advance. mrsalley

When my brother was little he... ahem... "used"... the display toilet at the hardware store.

You may notice that these things are now up on displays out of reach...

DH does the same thing!! He kept marking the driveway! I yelled at him to water the grass and he said it would kill the grass so he hits the driveway!
