We have bear, wolves, coyote, bobcat, an occasional cougar sighting. I don't worry about them, they are more afraid of you than you are of them as a general rule. Now Southies have tiny poisonous critters who can hide in shoe and under sheets, a hidden threat, much scarier than a little ole bear!

Speaking of beer...NOONE down here knows how to properly cook a brat. They just throw them straight on the grill. There should be specific instructions on the package to boil in beer before grilling!!!!Or chili made with beer...northerners are weird

Down south should make it a requirement: if you’re buying brats, you must also buy enough beer to boil them in before grilling. Cheap beer! Cheaper the better for the flavor...just my personal opinion!
