You might be a “Southie” if...

A few what? Where?
Rattlesnakes. A small island in northern Lake Huron. The only place I know of anywhere around here that has snakes that could kill you.
The Gulf would be safe for you to swim in as long as you don’t mind sharks, stingrays, jellyfish ...
Lake Superior may only get up into the 50s in the middle of the summer, but you certainly don't have to worry about dying from anything in there. Apart from hypothermia.

And yes there are sharks on the Gulf coast of Florida, a few years ago the first time I went to the beach there were some guys fishing off the sand. I asked them what they were fishing for and they said sharks. I have yet to go into the water above my knees.
“We” do crawfish meat pies too!!
Looks more like an Empanada.

Lake Huron is completely in the Southie area...

One of the criteria to be a Northerner area is being free of poisonous snakes.

You notice we even cut off a portion of Minnesota, simply because someone said once they might have seen a poisonous snake there.

Another food opinion poll:
who likes, and who hates cilantro? I love it. I am guessing there are no in betweens....
View attachment 2117647But I have no idea if it's a north or south thing.
From what I've read it's a genetic thing. Some people experience the taste as that of soap because of their taste buds. I love it; DH hates it--says it tastes like soap. 🤷‍♀️
