Could've been the cook, though... I did not feel very confident of his skills, the legal bonafides of the gator meat, or his (the cook's) advanced state of intoxication, so who knows? Maybe gator actually, normally, tastes like chicken.

I thought that was vitamin A? SO high in vit A, in fact, that certain kinds can be toxic. (or so I have read.)
