You might be a “Southie” if...

Neck gaiters are big here in Florida (as are the real gators!) They are even more popular now with the covid and people needing some sort of mask or face covering.
Look....I even found a duck/goose one for @duluthralphie!

I think you should delete that post. It’s not nice to post photos of the feeble minded.

You can’t fool with that picture!

Do you wear them when it's cold outside? I think up here if it's cold enough to need neck covering you would likely go with a balaclava. I prefer the thinner fleeceones that go under a snowmobile helmet without taking up too much space.
Sorry, I'm not sure whether this is what you're asking, but I'll give a short explanation of neck gaiters. There's different materials and thicknesses for different uses. Some are for cold weather, some are for hot weather, and most recently some are used as facecoverings for Covid. I don't wear any of the hot weather ones, just the cold weather ones. I like balaclavas, but prefer neck gaiters plus a hat, just because it's difficult to get my lion's mane of hair in a balaclava and once I finally do, it itches. :idunno 😂

Alright, either the Northerners are sending us their cold weather, or the Deep Southies are stealing our mild weather. I looked at the weather forecast for the week and had a bit of a "chicken little moment." Forecast calls for snow on Sunday. It's definitely early for it to snow twice within a week here in southwest Nebraska, but I'm actually okay with that. What got me was when I looked at the temperatures for Sunday and Monday. 28 degrees (Fahrenheit) for a high!?!?! IN OCTOBER!?!?! That's not supposed to happen until January! I'm gonna turn into a popsicle!🥶

The weatherdorks app says 26 for a high here. But we all know they lie.
