I've been trying to figure out the variety of okra my family always used to grow.
It wasn't normal okra. I think it was this?
It sure does look and sound like the same thing.
But I wouldn't think this would grow in Missourah.
If it's not this it's another variety just like it.
It's actually a type of gourd.
They used to always let some of them get big and then they would dry them out and use the seeds to replant the next year.
I tried to grow it some years back when my grandpa went to the nursing home, but it rained all year like this year and they flooded out.
No one has seeds anymore that I know of.
