@cleoandtheflock , do you have D'Uccles chickens? They're so pretty. I'm an "underground" chicken keeper, I have "2" 3yr old RIR, "2" 2yr old SLW, and "3" 6 month old Barred Rock, It's been great keeping chickens in my suburban Backyard. I built my own coop and have learned a lot from the folks on this forum. My narrow sighted community doesn't allow chickens

I do breed, raise, and show my most favorite chicken breed D’Uccles!
I live in the outskirts of the city and my little town is taking forever to decide on chicken laws. The people on council know very little about poultry and I heard they are making the limit 6 chickens per household and no roosters! Just rumors hopefully! I’m about to have 20 and I have a few roosters.
I love keeping chickens and will move if I can’t have them. But I doubt that will happen where I live. If you have any questions about D’Uccles I’m here to help.
