Yes but they mix the sugar in while the tea is still warm so it actually dissolves. When you put sugar in cold tea it mixes in a little but you get lots of undissolved sugar crunchies in the bottom. lol

Hmmmm, and I was thinking that was a dang good price until I zoomed in and saw that price was for chopped green peppers.

There is nothing better than the contents of that bag, tossed with corn meal and salt and fried crunchy in some Crisco, with a side of homegrown tomatoes, an ear or two of silver queen corn and a cold glass of good ol sweet tea. I could eat that for supper several nights in a row, and have many times when the garden comes in. Ain’t nothing better!

I mean, I’m in the wrong country and all but I’m northern in my country and damn my tea needs at least 3 sweeteners or spoons of sugar in Plus it also needs milk.

I make it with boiling water but I’d still be happy to drink it 2 hours later when it’s freezing cold

Drinking tea with no sugar in (and especially with no milk) is like drinking rainwater that’s been filtered through soil

Meanwhile, if you're in the Pacific NW, there's an espresso shop on every block. Even the home improvement store has an espresso stand. Even the public library (in Eugene OR) has an espresso stand. They will sit outdoors under tiny awnings in the chill and rain to drink coffee. I don't think PNW-ers qualify as Southies, but they are surely in a different universe than Northies.
