You get used to the heat and it is healthier for you. It’s miserable in SoCal but, up where I live there are hundreds of crystal clear lakes, streams, cricks, and creeks. You can always escape the heat in the shade as there is not much boggy moist air so it isn’t as bad. Or if you want, you can drive 45 minutes to be at a snowy mountain, (Lassen). Or you can just go swim in Lake Shasta, Squaw Creek, Wiskeytown Lake,Cow creek or any of the other hundreds of creeks, rivers, lakes or streams. Not like YOU even eat fresh game @duluthralphie .you probably don’t even get 4 eggs a week from your chickens in winter....... I usually get around 4-6 eggs a week from a normal layer in winter. Plus it’s green in winter and rains about 4 days a week and the other days are sunny. In the spring it is sunny, the creeks are full and you can swim in them. We can swim in our creek out back, it’s about 5 feet deep in the spring and drier winter periods And 12 feet deep after big Rains, once it got 14 feet and flooded out, in the summer it’s dry as a bone though. I’ve caught trout, salmon, bass and crappie in it. Also NorCal is the best fly fishing in Mainland USA. PERIOD. Right now we’re getting the last rain of the season before summer. You can actually grow like everything here as the growing season is all year, spring veggies through the fall, winter, and Early spring. Every thing else from about April-sep, I’ve even grown jicama and sweet potatoes and corn, and pumpkins grow good with the long season. I bet you can’t even grow those @duluthralphie.Why would any sane person torture themselves like that?
I agree COMPLETELY!!!!!! CRAZY ESKIMAUS.Why would any insane person live in an area of 9 months of frozen tundra? Say like Minn-a-soda

This list must be worst to best , no way Massachusetts is that healthy.I would never try to raise Southie food in my garden, it could pollute my normal food..
Also could you look at this list and tell me where California ranks compared to Minnesota?

Thought it was all the illegal voters and the dead republicans voting democratic for the first time lolYou don’t actually realize how big CA is, that is probably all people who live down south or in big cities, just to show you how different Bay Area and SoCal and sacromento is to NorCal aka the state of Jefferson here is a map of county votes, notice all the blue on west coast and all the red in the north and East? You know that CA always gets blue in presidential elections, that’s because all the city liberal heathens.View attachment 2137971
