Yep. The only other places would be Alaska or maybe Maine, but I have never been there.

I was in grade school in AK and there were times we could not go out on the playground because a herd of buffalo would be out there! And sometimes there would be moose hanging around in my backyard. Oh, and would you believe I had to walk to and from school?!?

Amen, to that!!!!...although it wasn't a state, the gubermet owned Johnston Atoll, 16° North of the equator!...about 825 miles South SW of Honolulu. I was there for several years, then went even further south to the Indespensible Islands.

I knew about the leper colony because we lived in Hawaii on the Big Island for a while. But there's now a cure for leprosy, which is good, because our chickens and cats have been known to get kind of close to them.
