You go to the store on Saturday morning and rubberneck every yard sale to see if maybe there is something you could use to make a bator!

Too funny! I told my kids we wouldn't put decals of our family on our car because we couldn't find any chickens to 'represent' us!

when your chicken does the squat for you cause she thinks you're the rooster,and you reach down and grab her neck feathers and rough up her tail feathers. Makes my girls happy cause I don't have a rooster to accomodate them.

Ok I have another one. When I pick okra (which is every day right now) I take it to the house and cut the larger ones in half then boil them for my chickens. I have ALOT of okra, so it ends up being a large 16 quart pot they get every morning when I let them out for the day. My DH just rolls his eyes

knowing that its not going in the freezer for us like it has in the past. They just love it.
