If you are in the sweet potato patch at the end of November with a shovel with all the girls surrounding you, turning over the ground with a shovel so they can find some tasty worms. I had to laugh at myself. They were so cute, wachting me. No wonder I love my girls.

I have several logs rotting in my yard from a tree that was cut last March (a whole nother thread....) and I go out in the yard and roll them around now and then, so the birds can get all the bugs out from under!! They looooooooove when I do this!!

If you still have pullets in your living room that are laying eggs already cuz you haven't finished the coop, and well, let's be honest - you kinda like having them in the house because they're funny and are good company - especially that banty that "talks" to you and likes to sit in your lap while you're at the computer...
