"You should be vegan since you own farm animals"

You can get all your nutritional needs being vegan or plant based. But vegan as a lifestyle not an eating habit... Plant-based is an eating habit

Here's my dinner tonight. Several veggies died for this meal! It's 100% nutrient dense. I have blood tests that prove plant-based is better for my body.

For all of human existence, humans have been omnivores. Our forward facing eyes indicate that we are predatory omnivores. I eat plenty of animals because I love the taste. That said, it is possible to meet all your nutritional needs as a vegetarian (even a vegan) though it is more difficult. After seeing @BDutch claim on the environmental impact of the meat industry vs growing vegetables I went looking for any peer reviewed study that would support her claim.
I don't believe news articles - there's always an agenda. I want to see source material. I couldn't find any.

So- can anyone send me a link to a peer reviewed research case study that might support the claim that a 100% vegan diet is actually better for the planet and could actually provide balanced nutrients and calories for the almost 8 billion people on the planet?

Some people need certain medications off of different sorts of animals. So not all 8 billion people would be able to live if we only lived off this diet, also some aren't used to veggies. I for one can't even put one in my mouth without throwing up. The only veggie I could eat is celery. Not trying to prove you wrong but sometimes we need to kill animals to help us or keep things balanced.

I sometimes can't keep my mouth shut either, I hate when others join in on the other side it outrages me. Their is no reason why humans should deny their actual diet because it's 'cruel' You don't see lions stop eating meat because it's 'cruel'. Some people make no sense  That is pretty stupid to feed a dog vegan, we all need a proper diet and vegan is not one of the. Being a vegan, you lack minerals and vitamins our body needs.
This is completely untrue, I have been on a plant-based diet for 6 years... I'm insany health besides having graves disease It's what caused me to go plant based.

I 100% get all the nutrients and everything else that I need every single day. I get blood test drawn every single month to prove that I am improving.

I understand that some people don't believe that it can be sustainable, but I am living proof of that.

If anyone has any questions I could give you any type of information that you need.

I am not one of those crazy people who says that they're vegan and hate on meat eaters, my whole family are meat eaters.

he asked for a peered reviewed article and I provided one I understand what you all are saying and it's not beat on the plant-based person day....

everyone can say that they can't live this lifestyle, but what happens when you have no other choice but to be plant-based... This is what happened to me I was told 8 years ago that I was going to die in 6 months, I had no choice but to smarten my butt up!

you can't sit there and say that people can't eat this way and people can't sustain this when I am 100% living proof of this diet working.

I'm supportive of your statement :). Though some people aren't the same. People with very low deficiency in a plant that cannot provide the same amount as some meats etc should be on a diet that could improve their deficiency. If I am wrong feel free to correct me, I just looked it up though and some doctors don't recommend people with iron deficiency to avoid going vegan.

Never said people couldn't eat this way, sorry if you took it the wrong way. You obviously don;t have any hate on people who eat meat so their is no point for me to prove myself, I respect the way you don't care what others eat, just some actually can't live without certain things in meat or something that isn't vegan.
