"You should be vegan since you own farm animals"

I'm supportive of your statement :). Though some people aren't the same. People with very low deficiency in a plant that cannot provide the same amount as some meats etc should be on a diet that could improve their deficiency. If I am wrong feel free to correct me, I just looked it up though and some doctors don't recommend people with iron deficiency to avoid going vegan.
I think that there is a diet for everyone and not everyone can be an omnivore... there are so many different diets out there that work for so many different people, I've seen friends cure themselves from diseases by going paleo or keto.

I think that it's our responsibility to our bodies to find the correct diet that is good for us. My husband eats meat and vegetables all the time. Plus he consumes a lot of fruit, but he does not go plant-based because he thrives on meat. He wouldn't be able to thrive on a plant-based diet like I can.

I actually have allergies to red meat and dairy. It was brought on by several factors such as medication that I was taking for Graves disease and other factors.

I am a plant-based person that has 21 meat chicks that I am actually going to butcher myself for my family. My whole family thrives on a meat base diet. Everyday I cook meat for my family, but I cook my own plant-based meal.

I love how you have the guts to raise meat chickens and be such a wonderful person. I understand not all vegans are rude. I normally will eat fruits and I agree we all have our own diets that benefit what we need in our bodies. Good point.

I take a lot of plant supplements that provide all of the nutrients and minerals that my body needs.

My body can feel when I am deficient because I start getting really cranky or I just feel completely off. usually when I get this way my doctor runs blood test and I am always 100% correct that I am deficient in something. I haven't been deficient in anything for about 2 years now ever since me and him tweaked my plant-based eating.

most people who go plant-based from a meat diet tend to go back to meat because they don't eat enough protein. protein is a huge factor when you are plant-based and you need to really amp it up when you are plant based, most people don't do this when they start so they feel like it won't work for them. I've been there in the beginning, it was brutal!

I'm not only raising meat chickens, we are going to have meat quail and meat ducks. I am also going hunting for the first time since I've been 18 next year. I want to shoot down my first deer being plant-based and all that meat is going to go to my family and my dogs.

I really don't get when people say that you should be vegan because you own animals... I love my chickens, but if it came down to a zombie apocalypse, you better bet your bottom dollar I would rather eat that chicken than be eating the grass or bark off a tree. I'd even eat a grub even though the disgust me :lau I'd break my plant-based eating habits to survive!

That's exactly what my dad said to me as a child when I was innocent and wanted to keep all my animals alive, now I'm like "I'll keep best 2 egg layers and eat the rest for meat if something ever happens" Ain't no way I'm gonna go and eat some standard bread or carrots, I'm gonna enjoy my meal before I die :smack:drool
