Young but colors say rooster

Marshmallow is still very young but I’m noticing copper colored feathers on her. “Her” dad is a light Brahma I have no idea who “her” mom is. Am I overthinking or is she a he?

She hatched july 24th- much too early to tell and the comb is looking small and redish but it’s the dark brown in the feather that’s getting to me (old-ish photos)

Looking even more like one now rust speck on “her” shoulder, rust saddle feather and was making the rooster “I found treats” noise today

How old is she now, four weeks? Her comb is still tiny and pale, and there’s not much leakage. I wouldn’t give up hope! Post pictures in a couple weeks, and it may be easier to tell. Brahmas are slow developers, so “she” could very well be a he, you’ll just have to wait and see.

I think closer to two months let me check my photos. Her comb is redder just.. small I’ll go get a better photo of that too forgot combs tell genders too not just feathers

She hatched late July. July 26th I believe. So yeah about a month actually
