Moral of the story is, don't buy chicks unless you are absolutely certain what they are. Feed stores can be problematic because not everyone that works at feed stores know what each breed is supposed to look like as chicks and they can be sorted incorrectly. Sometimes they just put all their chicks in one bin and hope they pull out the right ones.
