He was hatched late June, he's half easter egger and half saipan junglefowl, very friendly and protective of his siblings, would make a good guard rooster. His father (saipan) is an excellent rooster--an absolute gentleman to his ladies, friendly to humans, gets along with other roos, and extremely watchful of his flock (he doesn't roost until every other bird is up and in the coop and is always keeping an eye out for threats). Both his father and mother are healthy birds and out of his brood, he is the dominant bird. We just don't have room for another rooster, unfortunately, but this little guy would make an excellent addition to a flock!
I am willing to drive him to a potential home, as long as it is not more than 4 hours away from home (near Roanoke, VA).
