I have 4 hens who are approximately 23 weeks old and I‘ve noticed one of them has a droopy tail. she is eating and drinking well, is quite vocal and is otherwise fine, she has not started laying yet but is showing signs that she may be about to start. Could she be egg bound at this early stage?
She is fed on layers pellets with some corn, grit and oyster shell mixed in. I also put a small amount of apple cider vinegar in the water.
