I've got 5 month old Lavenders, Two breeding pairs of the same age. Eggs are the same size as the silkies eggs. But they appear fertilized. Can I attempt a hatch or should I wait until they are normal sized?

Hi, i live in Idaho, south of Coeur D' Alene. i am wondering if you have Lavendar O's for sale?
i have 2 hens and 2 roosters but they are sibs */or 1/2 sibs. i really dont want to inbreed. thanks
I just started my flock this summer, but I do plan on selling by spring.

Are you talking Lavender Orpingtons? My girls are over a year old and their eggs are still much smaller than I expected. The girls are physically bigger than my golden comets, but the comets lay much bigger eggs. Heck, my bantam cochins lay bigger eggs than most of my LO's.
