Ok thanksLittle glasses-things that clip onto the beak to obstruct the bird's forward vision somewhat. Usually used to keep them from pecking at each other.

I don’t think it was that as he would also kind of twitch and look at his body. Whatever it was he is good now and he is a sweetheart!Weird.
Maybe he didn't like the texture of the ground, and he needed time on with bandages to gradually acclimate it to it? Turkey with sensory issues?
Bootsy is super cute with his blue boots on. So glad he’s better!I think it was something neorological but I am not sure. I did find something that worked for him. We carefully wrapped his feet with gauze, each toe seperately etc so he can walk and it’s just like his natural foot shape. We then put vetwrap over the gauze, not too tight where it cuts off his circulation later but not to loose where it could easily come off. He would sometimes pick at it but for the most part I think his feet felt better. He no longer was doing a hot foot dance. The wraps stayed on quite sometime and when they started to come undone I thought well let me take them off and see how he does. Within a few hours he would start picking them. I did that a couple times and thought I will let them come undone naturally this time so it’s gradual. They have slowly been coming off and he STILL has some around his ankles. There is no pecking picking etc. He is a very happy boy now. We call him Bootsy!
Thank you!!Bootsy is super cute with his blue boots on. So glad he’s better!
