One of my young roosters was attacked last night. His face is scratched up and one of hus eyes wont open. His back is also scratched up with no skin on one part. Another hen was found with no head. I put some ointment on his head and back where he was bleeding to help keep it clean and lessen the bleeding but he seemed like he was in shock and didnt move or make anysound when i went to grab him . does anybody know if he will make it or how to help him more.

Sorry you lost a hen and your boy was injured.
Can you post pictures of his injuries?
Have you found out how the predator got into your coop/run? Once you get your rooster taken care of, securing the coop/run will be the second most important thing to do. Whatever did this to your birds will certainly be back.
Your boy should be isolated from the other birds and kept inside to keep flies off his wounds.
It would be best to clean him up as good as you can and at a minimum spray some Vetericyn on his wounds. He should be kept in a quiet place with food and water with electrolytes in it to help support recovery.
I'm sure others will be chiming is soon with better advice but this is a good start. Good luck.

Do you know what attacked them?
A picture of the roosters back and eye would be helpful.
Meanwhile, gently clean around the eye with plain water.
Your rooster is in shock and that can often be what kills them.
If you have betadine or Iodine clean the wound on his back with a 50/50 mix with water and check for any punctures in the skin/muscle.
Try and keep him in a clean environment.

i didnt have any betadine or iodine so i tried to clean it out as best as I could and put some balm on it to keep it clean but i noticed some soft yellowish white dots by the base of the feathers. I got out as many as i could and covered what i couldnt in balm to keep it from touching hin directly. It looks like he was mostly just plucked. The connection where i live is really bad and wont let me uploaad photos , sorry

Ive never had issues with predators befor and my chickens coop is usually open but i let them completely out of the coop for the night with no roost because we were tearing it down and bringing in a bigger more secure one.It looked like he was just plucked with some scratched near his face.

Ideally you should try and get some kind of antiseptic on the wound.
Keeping the wound clean is very important.
Back wounds like that have been from hawks and such like here.
Shock and infection is what tends to kill rather than the wound itself in many cases.
Also try and get a vitamin supplement. I give daily one quarter of the dose recommended for an adult each day for five days.
The link below may be of interest to you. It's about my experiences with injured chickens.
It's a long thread, so I've linked you to the most recent casualty.

There are always issues with predators. Some times people are just lucky for a while.
