Got a couple more pics of the boy today. He has one crooked toe, but it wasn't originally like that. Somehow, I think he caught it on something and broke it. Sure doesn't hold him back, though! He's a very handsome guy, isn't he? I love Welsummer roosters. The last pic is him fussing at the fence with Gypsy. Notice he doesnt stand too close, LOL.

I just love pencilled feathers and iridescent black. Ahhhhhhh.......

And I'd like to point out that the crooked toe was actually quite handy for us, because we used it to make sure we didn't confuse him with the other cockerels when I picked him out! I was specifically interested in his temperament rather than his show qualifications, so it didn't make me no nevermind.
