All righty now, we do not want none of dat!arctic blast returning down here
Hopefully not below 32° but in Feb we never now. It could be 15° or 45°. We just have to plan for the worst. Right now our coldest night temp forecast is 45°. Our lowest average temp until spring is 39°.How cold on the arctic blast, @Nomadicus?
I've had the same luck with peaches in TN. Solve that problem I hope down here. I hope to have blueberries this year. All righty now, we do not want none of dat!
I'll be watching my blueberries for buds. Almost never fails they bud up and I'll have to cover for a cold snap.
Currently 14°F. Sub zero temps are not over yet.Hopefully not below 32° but in Feb we never now. It could be 15° or 45°. We just have to plan for the worst. Right now our coldest night temp forecast is 45°. Our lowest average temp until spring is 39°.
I am trying a couple of new peach varieties that are claimed to be able to not only survive here but also produce fruit here. Don't have any idea how many years it will take before they are capable of blooming.I've had the same luck with peaches in TN. Solve that problem I hope down here. I hope to have blueberries this year.
This was last year. They were fine. I am quite sure I saved them. There was an area on one cherry tree that didn't get covered well enough, and all those flowers were brown. The rest were fine.Hope your cherry trees and blueberry bushes are OK.
