I been trying to find the stuff that makes the worms swell up and bust when they eat it that is non toxic to anything including us.
🤔 I wonder what would happen if you sprinkled baking soda on something they find yummy and placed that in their path.

Or you could try peroxide. It works on my dog's when they get ahold of chocolate. 😆

Something is stealing strawberries. :duc They are covered with netting. I do not see any holes where voles could have dug in. Green berries have been removed cap and all??? In the past, this was squirrels. But the netting is not disturbed??
I saw this while researching something about Epson salt and thought of your post.

"Similar to mice, squirrels are also repelled by the smell of Epsom salt, so it can be used in areas where they are a nuisance, such as around bird feeders or garden areas"
Wonder do I need to plant garlic around the berries too?? :lau
At least two of the reference books on my shelf mention this as a good idea.

Zucchini and yellow squash are coming up. Mid month we will plant another planting of each. Need to get a couple of cattle panels out for a cucumber trellis. Ma's got a lot of dill growing so I had best do my part.

If we get enough mild jalapenos this year they will be used for Cowboy Candy for the tender mouth kids. I'm sticking with the real things though.
