Golden Laced Cochin. Lacy went broody and is now raising chicks.

She is wonderful.

the breeds I have are modern game, cochin, orpington, leghorn, japanese, belgian D uccle (all bantams) and the only ones that have gone broody are my leghorns. 3X in 1 year

now figure that one out,,,,they are supposed to be nonsetters

I've got a blue slate turkey hen that has been sitting on nothing but her butt for 2 months!!!!!!! Every day I run her off the "nest" and every day she tears my tail up.
