EE's are ameraucana crosses, a lot of hatcherys sell them as pures..

i don't think theres any specific breeding going on.. Maybe just extras that the hatchery has tossed together. But that's what makes the EE's so popular.. you never know what they are and being crosses of unknown origin they come in a lot of odd colors, While still having a lot the araucana/ameraucana characteristics.. such as the green egg and beard/tuft. (although not all EE's do carry the traits..)
