It's good to see you around.
I think my family's lifestyle is alot like y'alls. Not trying to keep up with the Joneses. Just trying to keep up with life.

The word "lifestyle" has many meanings, some which wouldn't be appropriate to post about on BYC.
TwinMommy, meet David; aka Davaroo. He has a very dry (some say twisted) sense of humor....and I love it!
DH and I live a fairly modest lifestyle on a few acres. We have a 17 year old son. We are debt free, including the house (thank you Dave Ramsey), and intend to stay that way. It's a free feeling not owing others. All of our vehicles are at least 10 years old, we don't subscribe to pay television, and we eat out infrequently. We're both fairly frugal. We could do/have more, but we're content with what we have. DH loves "playing around" on the tractor, and I enjoy my chickens (wow...we sound really boring...lol). He designs electronic connectors and the machines that make them, and I'm on a year sabbatical from teaching in public schools; I'm trying to decide if I want to go back into the classroom. That's pretty much us in a nutshell...
I think we knew we were in exactly the right spot.... country, no neighbours..... when you look out the window at 5am and see your spouse and (at the time) 4 male dogs all having a morning whiz..... geez where was my camera! lol
Darling Simon wanted a place that he could do that without getting busted!
