OK. We bought supplies to make decorations for outside to lure in unsuspecting trick-or-treaters.
Got 2 web kits for a 400 sq ft web. 10 large black bags to make 1 huge spider for said web. 1 box of white trash bags to make a ghost ring around a "fire" made of white twinkle lights. 12 orange jack o lanters for treats-the plastic kind (we're gonna put some sand in it from our pile and 3 hour candles) to make into a spaced out row of jack o lanterns, 2 big plug in bright flash strobe lights, 1 blue light for front porch, and a cd of Haunted House Scary Sounds CD to play in DHs pride and joy huge music system that plays so loud it can make folks 3 blocks away wet the bed-6 speakers the size of medium children all gonna outside (unless it rains). Oh, and 4 jumbo pumpkins we're gonna carve Sunday or Monday.
We're also gathering some cardboard boxes of the right size, that we're gonna use some grey paint (and white paint) we have on, to make into 8-10 tombstones (with bricks in them to hold them down). And, in addition, we've gotten togather some pants and shoes the kids have outgrown to "plant" vertically amoung the tombstones.
Tomarrow, we decorate! Woo Hoo. See, my yard is almost 300' wide, and my house is about 125' back from the road. We're on a somewhat busy avenue though, which means lots of folks will be driving by. I've gotta get going so folks will know where to trick or treat. I have purchased $27 dollers worth of small awesome candies for trick or treators. I'm good for 100 kids, which would be the most here in forever. I'm hopeing by setting up the spiders and ghosts and tombstones early, folks will start thinking to trick or treat here. Maybe set up one of the lights behind tombstone area, and the other flashing on the corner of the house nearest the road......
