your Reviews?: 1583 Hova-Bator, Circulated Air Picture Window

Nice that you do have it! Now someone I can refer to in case I might get the 1588...maybe, if I can find a really good deal on it. Now, did you get an egg turner w/ it too? Its suppose to keep the temp pretty well...mostly around 100F. Is it as good as they claim?

Keep me updated on the chicks...hope they hatch well!!!

- Can you sign my guestbook on my site with your name and e-mail so I can keep in touch with you?

Thanks!

Hi,
Another question, only the preset temp and apparently the price that are different?
Sorry for going on,
THanks

I bought mine thru Meyer hatchery w/o the egg turner. Seems like it cost me around $125 maybe? Honestly I don't remember but it was well worth it.

Yes it maintains a steady 100 degree temp no problem.

I did sign your guestbook. Nice website btw. Just pm me if you have anymore questions. I'll be happy to help.

Thanks MommaHen. We will keep in touch for sure!

Horsechick: Pretty much from what I have compared the two through websites...ones just preset and ones manual. Even though that don't sound much but the preset's system will cost a lot, simply because it needs more "brain" than just the fan...but I guess for "more bang for the buck", I think 1583 is best. As long as you keep the incu. in a good area w/ little temp. flux, its just as good as Genesis from what I have gotten back

Have you seen my site?

I've got two 1588s and love them. The extra cost was worth it to me not to have to tweek the temps. Cutler Supply has a pretty good deal on the bator/turner combo. That's where I got mine.

I am impatiently awaiting the arrival of my 1588! Glad you all like yours. I chose this model because Miss Prissy said it was the best!!!!! Good luck to all of you with your hatches. Maybe the mailmain will bring mine today:fl

I have 3 of the 1588's, 3 homemade ones and a transparent hen. The 1588's are plug and play. It is preset and you really have no need to fiddle with adjusting it to the right temp. For first timers a bit nervous about hatching I recommend it with a turner.

I didn't go with that one because I was told if it would break down it's harder to fix....I have the 1583 with turner....I have the turner but I will have no problem just hand turning...it gets you use to being around the eggs and you learn alot more about your hatchin abilities.....

Hmm wonder if I ccan find one around these neck of the woods. I am so ready to take my LG back to where I got it from. I haven't had one chick hatch in it yet. Maybe I will just have to build one.
Good luck with your bator.
