Your Top Five Favorite Breeds!

1- Mutts. They're just si pretty & unpredictable. Our roo is a top notch gorgeous roo mutt.
2- Americauna. Beautiful eggs.
3. RIR. Great egg production.
4- Marans (blue & black). Again, egg color.
5- Brahmas (preferably buff but any will do). Size!

Also love Barred Rocks, Brown Leg horns, Australorps, Sussex, Orpingtons & any & every chicken in general!!! ♡♡♡♡♡

1- Buff Orpington (very affectionate, love getting attention)
2- Easter Eggers (love that they all look different with varying personalities and the eggs are fun)
3- Barred Rock (my most spunky girls are BR, always the first to investigate and go against the grain)
4- Black Australorp (very calm and beautiful feather colors)
5- Cuckoo Maran (I only have roosters of this breed but so far they have been good roosters, non-aggressive)

Hmm not sure if I posted here previously however here is my list:

1) Salmon Faverolles Personality (laid back, sweet, calm) appearance-poofy beards and muffs-BEAUTIFUL
2) Easter Eggers Personality (Curious, friendly), laying, non broody
3) Orpingtons Personality (Laid back, gentle, quiet) Broody (good moms)
4) Cochins Personality-"little busy bodies", VERY Broody
5) Wyndottes NOTE: there is a BIG difference in these from hatcheries versus breeders. The breeder Wyndottes were sweet, good moms, friendly, whereas the hatchery Wyndottes were sassy, and often the aggressive ones in my flock-towards smaller birds (Chicks or banty)

Changes all the time but today it's

1. Isbars
2. Ameraucana so sweet and gentle
3. True English orpington with their big fluffyness
4. Barred rocks smart...is that's even possible with a chicken...but at least they find the door!
5. Cochins just yummy cuddly and cute

Hmm....

1. Wyandottes (SL or BLR)

2. Marans (Cuckoo)

3. Plymouth Rocks (Barred)

4. Rhode Island Reds

5. Orpingtons (Buff or Lavender)
