I always make sure to tell them I love them every night. I know they don't know what it means, but I secretly hope they do. I actually didn't realize how much they meant to me until one got an infection. She wasn't even my favorite girl. She actually really doesn't have much of a .personality at all, but once I found out she was sick, I was just as worried and motherly to her than if it was anyone else In my life. I was crying and spending all this money and researching non-stop. I would have done anything to help her. I think I even prayed. She is good now!

My sister: What about Bessie?
Me: oh yeah, goodnight Bessie, Clover, Bean, Winchy, Nizzy, Hawkos, Milly, Fuzzy, M.B, Seagull... and Hazey see you all tomorrow!

Every time I pass one of those for sale, I always think "chicken coop". Especially the nice fancy wood ones with a porch out front and flower boxes under the windows.
