When ever you hear ANYONE taking about eggs, or chicken, you have to educate them on how chickens work. They lay eggs WITHOUT a rooster and both roosters and hen are chickens. Chicken doesn’t mean “hen”!! So many people don’t know that there doesn’t have to be a rooster for them to lay!! Gets on my nerves

I'm pretty sure there is a thread on here where people talk about all of the stereotypes and misconceptions people have about chickens. I was laughing so hard XD lemme see if I can find it!

when you make clothes for them, talk to them to tell them to please lay eggs, and cuddle with them my parents think its weird to talk to chickens but its soothing lol

I just use normal scissors and trim the feathers that are blocking them from being able to see.
