YUM ALONG PHOTO CONTEST No.1

This is the contest here on THIS thread..
The other thread is more or less a photo thread which inspired this contest. This here is a temporary thread that will eventually fade out mid February.
The mother thread will continue. Eventually I will create another contest. This one is a learning experience for me. I am taking in many suggestions and learning from trial & error. It will also be on a separate thread.
So any input or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
If you enter the contest. Post here. I am looking forward to your creations.

You could do kind of an upside down cake. Cut the fondant into strips like pasta. Crumble something like a red velvet cake on top to look like a Bolognese or some such. Bake a cake to look like garlic bread slices, and voila!

That was sort of my first idea, but it looked like the focus was on entrees so I dismissed it.

This is just an update to my previous post. IT IS NOT AN ENTRY TO THE CONTEST. Son made these pizzas. Caveman not a cheater.
DS came over and brought all the ingredients with. Dough was already proofed.

Most of the Immediate family was over. We ALL enjoyed. To those far away, I sent them pictures.

After seeing your everyday routine with just random candid photographs, it has me thinking what you can accomplish if you try hard.
When I try to imagine it, the pilot in my brain has turned on the "fasten your seatbelts sign".

In retrospect, I perhaps should of thought that 30 days would be a little bit too long for the duration of the contest. There is not that much popularity amongst the community. Perhaps with exposure, subject Etc.
I am happy and pleased with the following this Thread has created but a little more traffic would have made it a little more exciting. Perhaps if there was going to be a second contest, the duration of the contest would not be as prolonged as this one has been planned for.
More exposure would keep the thread from becoming camouflaged.
In between the awkward dormancy, I will be posting Italian themed videos and such to keep the contest alive and active in the system.

Absolutely breathtaking entries so far. I am looking forward to more creations appearing soon enough.
