Zane Made REAL Progress (New Pics Pg 99)!RIP Lorelei...

I'm so sorry......
If there's any sense to the universe at all, Lorelei is with her other buddies now, pain free, in the sun and eating everything in sight, and someday will snuggle in your arms again.

I am definitely going to second the suggestion of dlhunicorn. She has left her body behind, and it is truly best to know what is going on, especially since it has the likelihood of being infectious.
Please, Please consider seriously an autopsy.
P.S. If you need any help identifying or understanding the internal organs, please do not hesitate to ask me and others on the list.
I am a Histologist by trade and have performed and assisted in many veterinarian and human autopsies.
Take care and warmest wishes for your heart to mend, and for your flock to heal.

Thank you all for understanding the tears over one dead hen. Diana, I hope to God it wasn't that. Seems if it was, I'd almost rather not know. Call me nuts, but my kneejerk reaction is that it might be easier to live with it in the flock than to try to eradicate it, especially if it only affects a few over a year old, occasionally.
