That's GREAT news Cyn!!!
And Charlotte is one fine piece of hen-ness!
Mealworm story: My DS LOVED Fear Factor. And I was looking for stocking stuffers and found Fear Factor brand flavoured Mealworms. There was Spicy Taco and Cheesy Nacho, so I got one of each...and both of us got a box. DS was like "He77" NO!!!" So Slifer and I sat down and ate them. LOL She liked the spicy better than the cheesy and Obelisk was like "he77 no" too. But she will eat them plain.

He still isn't walking upright, but he's walking/shuffling a bit. He's eating, too, even though not as much as normal. I feel a bit more hopeful today, I really do. If he was really bad off and refusing food entirely, that would be ominous. I need to keep letting some of the girls visit him, at least the ones who seem interested. They'll keep him alert, maybe. And he'll get his sunbath in the garden and special food. I'm going to see if the feedstore has mealworms tomorrow, too. Dare I hope that he'll be back to being my main man again soon? Thanks to all of you who are concerned about my Zaners. I sure appreciate you all.
Oh Cyn.....thats GREAT news! I just knew if anyone can help him through, you and your DH would! Of course....all the little chicken prayers is helping as well.
If you can't find mealworms - they love crickets and it's a great source of protein.. I buy a box from bait store and it's all out feeding frenzy fun for a full nano-second till they've eaten them all. Then I feel sorry for the poor crickets.
Hi Cyn - no - hopefully tomorrow. I can't wait. Got a little Ameracauna pipping right now that I got from Dipsy. It was one of the ones I got to put under Ms. Broody who unfortunately was killed. Looks like one peacock egg survived (should hatch May 4th) and 2 Ameracauna eggs - one pipping now and hopefully the other tomorrow.
Go ahead and get Zane the crickets - bet he would find a way to eat them - may even get him reved up a little.
