Doggoneit, Cyn..........I was sure hoping no news was good news. I'm so sorry you are all having to go through all of this. I'll keep my fingers crossed that this round will do it for him.
You've been fighting this battle for so long, I'd hoped for so much more progress for you. The quality of life decision is a hard to one to make that no one can make for you. Since they can't tell us how they feel we have to make the decision and hope it's the right one.
We're here for you no matter what and we'll support whatever your decision is.
Good luck to both of you, the little guy is a fighter and he's lucky you're in his corner.

Cyn, I must of missed some news somewhere along the line about Zane. I didn't know about his incision. I hope he has a speedy recovery.
I wonder if he just has to remember to use his leg again. I know that sounds crazy, but that's what happened to our dog Mug after hip surgery. He remembered the pain and didn't want to use it. His doctor had to reassure me that he wasn't in pain, but just stubborn about trying to use it again. I had to do theraphy w/ him to show him it was ok to use it again. Ok, I know dogs & chickens are not anything alike, but that's what came to mind when I read this.
I'm send some more wishes your way that he makes a full recovery soon.
There really wasnt any news, per se. Zane had a build-up of infection on his "elbow" and we had to drain it, over and over again. Thanks for all the well-wishes for my very- much-loved rooster.
