Same old stuff here. Every time we remove the bandage, infection oozes out of the incision. Till today. Today, the wound looks less swollen, no infection even with light pressure. However, Zane still has no use of that leg below the hock. I consulted Doc Brown and he said there may be permanent tendon damage. He told me to go through 10-14 days of Doxycycline again, with the first few doing two capsules a day. Thank goodness I still have enough to do that! He told me a couple of things to try to gain movement back in Zane's foot and leg, but he didn't sound all that optimistic about it. Im thinking that if there is unrepairable tendon damage, he may have already had a weakness in that joint. The fall he took shouldnt have really hurt him that badly, but if the joint was already weak, it could have done more damage than it normally would have. So, we'll do this and then we have to make a decision for Zane's quality of life. I guess I'm hoping for some miracle for this very special guy of mine.

I'm glad he looks better and I really hope he gets use of the leg back!!
