Maybe the person you got her from was wrong about which of his birds are her parents. My bantie pullet is sitting on 7 eggs right now, only 1 is hers, and I have no idea which of my 2 roos is/are the dad/s.

She is very unique!!!! If I were you, I'd read up on how to build breeding pens or trapnests!!!!!

I wouldn't breed her. I believe her to be a "frazzle" or "curly". This means she has 2 copies of the frizzle gene and she may not be able to maintain a full/healthy feather. Her extra curly feathers cause problems with making the feathers extra fragile. Notice how her tail feathers look so rough. Don't be surprised if she is left with only feather shafts, looking more like a porcupine. I agree she is part silkie. Maybe the breeders sizzle mated with a frizzle. That could result in a frazzle. I also think she may be a he. Those of silkie heritage are tricky with sexing. She is super cute! I just really don't think her physical beauty may be able to keep up with her personality. I encourage trying to prevent breeding her/him.

I've never seen a poodle/chicken cross.

How interesting! Keep us up to date as she matures? I'd like to see her all grown up (I know she's almost there now but sometimes those last few weeks make a big difference!)
