This case has soooo much more to it than that simple statement. If someone was bashing my head in, yeah I would fire, but that pic of his head shows a superficial wound. I have cut my kids head with clippers that delivered more blood than that.

Still I want to see evidence. I want to know the whole story. Not just what we have been fed by the media.

It would seem from the 911 transcript that he stopped following Martin. So how did he end up shooting Martin ? Would it seem that Martin came back looking for Zimmerman ? Would that not go along with Zimmerman's story ?

looking at the map, it looks as if Mr Z lost him at the ally between the houses. He then walked to the next road an gave the 911 person the address an hung up, then he turned around going back to the truck he spotted him again as he passed the ally again. The fight an shooting happened between those two houses.

Somehow you read into a lot and add a lot to what I say... Please, don't suggest things that I didnt write. For example: I didn't say that "everyone has the right to use the term "indian" on all native american people, but somehow you took it that way. I don't know how or why you read that into the statement.

I'm not sure how someone's interpretation has to be assumed to be reading too much into something but I am not going to argue with you. I am excusing myself from this discussion before I say something I will regret.

Yes I know. I stated it was a mistype on my behalf in a previous post.

Sorry I posted that early on.

When my wife took her CCW class the instructor told her she can warn an aggressor that she is armed and tell them to stop and also that if a person attempts to disarm you you have every right to shoot them.

I have seen no evidence as of yet to really convict Zimmerman other than media hype.

My statement may be "simple",.. but its reality...
When you are put in a position to defend your self... you never know what you will do to survive.
I really want to hear what the witnesses have to say.... i think that will be a biggie in this..

We really do need more evidence. Zimmermans story is just his story... He could have had his head bashed after Trayvon attacked him, or he could have had his head bashed after he attacked Trayvon. The wound itself tells us only that a struggle occurred, not who started it or why...
