Zip tie after hatch?

Hi! My chicks are due to hatch tomorrow ish. Can I zip tie them soon after hatch to track which one came from which egg or do I need to wait a certain number of days? Thanks

I'd Use nail polish, not red, on their feet. Chick grow too quickly to zip tie safely
