The rollercoaster...she was weak again, so gave a few drops pure electrolytes; now she is acting all weird; opening and closing her beak all the time with her head up high, going on for an hour already. Gave her some water as well..no improvement. What could this be? I separated her now so she can rest

does she gurgle?
you may have aspirated her

during admission I did see some air-bubbles - but afterwards no sounds. Looked like gasping for air / gag reflex, but no sound. This morning she was drinking and eating again.

make sure that when you put it in their mouth you get it in the right place

NOT the middle, to the SIDE

oh wow, terrific picture - I dripped on the side of the beak, but this could still have happened..could permanent damage be done?

if its not gurgling i dont think you got much in there
just be careful next time and it sounds like its active again today?
