Zoloft...

I have been on Zoloft, it did bad things to me. I switched to Celexa and it got to the point where it was as though I'd built up an immunity to it I suppose. I was on Celexa for 2 years, and it stopped helping. I just got (haven't had a chance to fill a perscription for wellbutrin. THe Zoloft might be great for you, might not. If you notice or friends/family notice something is off, try not to take it personally, but take that info to the dr and see if the dr reccommends a change or not.

I took it for perinatal depression. I get depressed during my pregnancies and after the births. It's supposed to be the safest to take while you are pregnant or nursing. I wish I had kept taking it longer. I've been thinking of going back to see my doctor as I'm have those "itchy"-type, depressive feelings again. Does anyone else feel "itchy" inside when they are having a downturn?

I've been taking meds since 8th grade for my depression, I've tried just about everything, but zoloft, so I really hope this one helps me.
I was limited on what he could give to me since I'm pregnant.
I've noticed that I havent cried for the last 2 days or got mad over the dumbest things, so its looking good so far.

I've been on zoloft for almost ten years and it gave me my life back- i have ocd, depresion and ptsd- honestly for me, it has worked wonders- let us know how you do!

I don't, but I do take Paxil. Paxil's got a nasty rap, but in the year I've been on it, it has saved my sanity and probably my life. I actually actually leave the house again, without panic attacks.

I used to take Wellbutrin and Celexa (At different times) many years ago for depression. When the doctor tried to put me on Lexapro about 1 1/2 years ago, I had terrible side effects after just one dose. I tried to ask the doctor to put me on something I had been on before like the celexa or wellbutrin, but he would not, said that it may not work for me the second time around. I think he just was pushing the new ones.

Zoloft never need much for me - no good no bad, just felt the same. Started Wellbutrin about 2 yrs ago and for the first year lost weight (to a healthy size), felt great and now I think I am not getting the "leveling out" that happened when I first started it. Felling a little more SPAZ-Y or down than I have been. So, back to the MD I go. Meds may help, make you worse or do nothing, just have to work through it and keep trying till you find the one for you. Good luck.

Zoloft made me crazier than normal as well, and good Lord, the weight gain! I was ALWAYS hungry! I traded that evil for Lexapro, which I've been on for 3 years now. Other than the weight gain on it I'm doing fine. However, everyone can tell when I've missed a dose. I've also tried to wean off of it and was really sick. I'm on the combo Lexapro and welbutrin for anxiety, mood stabilizer, and depression. Just in case I have an off day, I also have Xanax lol.
