All of mine are raised with as little contact/handling/taming as possible so I can get a clear picture of what their temperament is like. I have noticed that they get flighty around the time they are put out, usually between 10-12 weeks old, and it continues until the first real breeding season...
Yes there has been wonderful progress. The birds are maturing faster than the pure Faverolles, and are significantly larger when mature. I will be posting photos as soon as I get done helping my folks move from Massachusetts to North Carolina.

This will make a difficult to breed chicken an even less desirable choice for those interested in learning about breeding and showing. Hopefully the Northeastern reboot of the club can make a go of it and make a difference in the future.
