So this was Macey our Welsummer pullet about 7-8 weeks ago...
*she's in the middle*
Here is "Macey" or should I say Ralph the roo now... lol
He is so handsome.. and very friendly...
"whatcha lookin at mom"
This Molly about a week or 2 old..
This is Molly now... she is about 8 weeks old...
lol I'm glad that I saw this thread because I thought that the other chickens were pecking her head.. because her comb wasn't like the others.. she doesn't much have one... also her legs look greyish to...
This is Molly and she is the sweetest.. My dd loves her to pieces.. and I think the feeling is mutual.. lol I swear she see's her coming from a mile away and Molly comes running to the fence.. there is a piece of wood that is my dd's "chair" and as soon as she sits on it Molly will hop up on...
WOW Sherry!!! <--- would be me if I had that view.. hopefully someday very soon it will be! lol
We live out in the country but they keep building it up.. We are going to start building soon on a piece of property we just bought even further out...
lol
Well I totally feel for you! I am already stressing out if ours are old enough.. it's warm enough... to cold?! etc.. for them to stay out in the coop.. How old are your babies??
well they were sort of afraid of the grass! lol So we keep taking them out to get used to it and they keep jumping on our feet or whatever body part is closest! lol
Thank you so much! I've been worrying myself sick over doing the right thing lol! They were a birthday present for our 9 year old.. but I've sort of taken over! I think I spend more time out there with them than her! Must be the mother in me! *heading over to see your pictures*
to stay in the coop all night... We built their new home yesterday.. We still have a few things left to do it.. but it should be ready for them to move in soon.. they are almost 5 weeks old.. I swear they change daily!
Here are a few pics from last week...
This and the next pic are from 2...
Hi thanks for the welcome!
I'm pretty sure now that Molly is an Easter Egg.. and leaning towards Black Australorp sp??for #2, or Jessey as my daughter calls her.. My BIL thinks that Casey is a Welsummer??? I will have to post a better pic of her.
We are very excited about the newest...
I heard the same thing on Fox News this morning... I kept waiting for them to go into more detail on what kind of feed but they never said..
and I totally agree with you Llysse...
Hi, we aren't sure what breed some of our chicks are... any help would be appreciated! The only ones I'm sure of are the 2 RIR and the Buff Orphington sp?..
This is Molly, my daughters favorite..
This is Jessey... she is black, white and a little yellow??
Here are the 2 RIR and we're not...
