I had a lot of chicks from 4 different hatcheries very good luck with all. one order from welp and one order from purely poultry with the welp order all chicks died due to post office not calling they chilled and died welp replaced all chicks plus threw in extras! the purely poultry some one...

I got same problem I ordered both Rhode island reds and new Hampshire reds 10 of each I have 10 almost white ones and 10 dark ones and I think the dark ones are the new Hampshire
I have never set a double yolk egg either but I have had several double yolkers from my bantams usually they are very long narrow shaped eggs not much room for one chick less for two
Some of the other herding dogs have the mural color shelties collies and a few others anyway that kind of dog can make a great herding dog and a great pet as well

Now I have 11 setting hens two of them are on the same nest can not separate them tried for a month straight last year one or the other would move so that they were together again they don't glare at each other when one gets off the nest and then back on the other just gives that soft clucking...
