That is awesome. I live in suburbia and have 7 ducks free range. It really cuts down on the food bill. I built a pen of like half my yard to give them time from the dogs. But most of the time I let the just wander. The dogs don't really bother them.
I have seven hybrid layer ducks and today I found 2 eggs. So the other girls should start producing quickly right?
I looked all over the yard and only found 2.
I will start the water bottles. I just mist them with the hose to help keep them cool. I don't have actual misters so that is what I have been using. Thanks....
It has been freakishly hot here. We have had a heat index of over 100 for a couple of weeks. I started to spay my rabbits with a hose every day but I noticed that it draws FLIES. Like a lot of flies. Will they hurt my rabbits?
I guess I could stop spraying them but it is so hot and I...
I did my research and just googled Meat Rabbits. There is a tone of info out on the web. I have been doing it for 8 months now and have been pretty successful.

My rabbit was a bad rabbit. She always bit be so once she did...
I say do them at once mostly cause they are really a lot of work. Also since you only have like 8 then that is maybe 3 4 at the most gallon freezer bags and one 50 gallon cooler. I did 12 rabbits this weekend and they all fit into 50 gallon cooler for brining.
I used the kiddie pool also with a large box around it to keep in the heat.
