From the feathering coming in, it looks like the two smaller ones will be pure white and the larger one will be grey... The lady...

Thanks everyone!!! It has been a stressful 32 days or so.... My Grandsons have named them...The boy is Rio... And one of the girls is Annie.... Wrong way is a girl (by darkness standards) and I haven't thought of anything as of yet to name her......

Ok, so 3 geese hatched out of 5 and are doing great...Working on a brooder for our back porch but as of now they are in the house still (wow are they messy!!) I was told that the eggs were either Buff or Embden or a mixture of the two... Here is a photo I took of them outside today.. What say...

Holy cow!! #4 has piped..Another wrong way!! I wasn't thinking this one would make it, last time I candled it , it was so far behind I thought I would just let it go until the hatch was over and make the call.. Noticed the new chick that was out was wreaking havoc in the hbator so opened it up...
Ok. I did dip his beak a few hours ago and I have some feed on a paper towel.. He has finally found his feet and doesn't look so much like a drunken sailor.. Still a bit unsteady but is so much better than this morning.. at least he can stand and hold his weight
Ok.. So I know with chicks to dip there beaks and tap the food container to get them to understand eating and drinking.. Not working so well with wrong way, am I trying to early? I went out and clipped it some nice grass and dandelions but it wasn't interested... He has been out of the shell 24...
LOL.. Wrong way is a demanding little goose.. when placed in the brooder he /she cries its heart out until my daughter comes and gets it and takes it in the room with her.. can we say spoiled!!!... LOL... She keeps checking on Gosling #2 to see if its dry enough to be placed in the brooder..
Ssorry I haven't been adding my congratulations to everyone else with new babies .. lol, I'm running between the broader and incubator... so excited!!! wrong way is learning to walk..... layer on the floor with it and it was able to stand up.... pretty wobbly yet but I think going to be fine..
very minor help, noticed it was struggling, upon closer inspection poor thing was stuck to the membrane once o freed it put it back and it promptly kicked itself out!! yay #2 is here!!
