My husband says he's been to a ghost town around there. He moved here from Tucson and I came from New Orleans, we think this is a pretty great place to be and so affordable! We're currently in town in Madison, bc I work in Franklin and he works downtown, but we hope to buy a farm eventually...

I am off work today, gotta work this weekend-and had all these gardening plans. The changing weather has my sinuses all inflamed and I woke up with the worst headache and it's so cold outside! Anyone experiencing the same around here? If so any tips? I'm taking Zyrtec but it only seems to...

My husband always gets a bug to fix or tidy things but usually it turns out to be the wrong ones. Last year he lopped off all my rare black tulips! :he I just wonder about gardening tips around here because this is my 4th I believe as an adult and so I'm a bit of a newbie. I can definitely...

I only have chickens, but they can ruin the things they are interested in eating. I have heard ducks don't cause issues and I don't know how destructive Guineas are. I'm reading a book that just came out called Gardening with Chickens by Lisa Steele. It has some interesting tips in it. It...

. I didn't know you had Barnevelders! Were they just too quiet or didn't have personality? I'd be nervous to get Marans although I bet yours are pretty. I'd just worry about my Orpington too she is so passive. If I change my mind I will let you know. It's good to know we have a few Marans...

Thanks for the info! I have always heard Marans were more assertive with less dominant birds, but I am by no means familiar with the breed, so it could be just what I've heard from my couple of friends who've had them.
