thank you very much. I got her from a very reputable breeder. I looked for a while to find the right breeder. She's turned out to be a great dog. She's great with the chickens and goats and watches over them. She just turned 6 months a few days ago. I love...
Hey all!! Hope everyone has had good hatches. I was out of town. Had to goto Maryland to help my cousin and his wife move. It's been terrible two days in the city. Got back to the farm yesterday. Let the 3 month olds out for a few hours before dark. And even let my farm helper off her leash...
Mike my new goats!!! Just got done giving them a water trough and a feed bin. Plus got them some high fiber hay. They were in a 1000 square foot area from the guy I got them from. Now there on 8 acres. How do they look? I'm new to goats.
Update: number 36 that's what I'm calling him for some odd reason. Is still alive opening its eyes and moving around the bator. Still looks a little weak. But I'm having high hopes for number 36 now!!
Well out of the 41 eggs. Thirty five are out and healthy. One I had to assist and there was bleeding. I have him in the bator he's moving and breathing. But hasn't opened its eyes yet. Don't know if will make it.
Ok guys so 30 chicks out. Well actually 32 left two in the bator cause they were wet. Still have eggs pipped and moving ready to hatch. Just had to get these guys out cause it was crowded. Out of a full egg turner witch I think is 41 or 42 eggs 32 so far and more coming!! I'm happy with that...
Well I have 20+ chicks in the bator. It's getting crowded but still have like 10 eggs pipped. I'll take pics when there all out. I dropped 40+ eggs on April 8th also. So I'll have another April hatch also. Let's keep raining the April chicks guys.
Well finally caught up. Been so busy building a new paddock for the goats. Had to drive 50 tpost by hand and put up 500 feet of fencing by myself. Been giving all the coops a spring cleaning as well. Incubating eggs raising chicks taking care of the new ducks. Hands full to say the least. But...
So the ducks are in the big coop and run with the 10 week old chickens. And they seem to all be getting along great. The ducks are in the run today it's raining. And there playing in puddles. And the chickens are looking at them like what's wrong with you guys. That water is for drinking not...
Thank you all for all your kind words. It's kinda weird with him not around to be honest. My mom said she refuses to eat him. But I'm going to. I don't want his death to be in vane. We just had him for a while. And did everything we could to rehabilitate him with no luck.
